Château Margaux 2007 was created in a vintage that required extraordinary patience and careful selection of grapes from the winemakers. Only the sunny end of the growing season allowed for optimal ripeness, and one of the strictest selections ever made followed in the cellar. Less than a third of the harvest made it to the Grand Vin, thanks to which the wine retained its purity, elegance and typical Château Margaux character.
The aroma gradually develops notes of blackcurrant, forest fruit and violets, complemented by delicate cedar, tobacco and spices. The taste is harmonious and refined, with finely grained tannins, fresh acidity and a long, precise finish. This is not a vintage based on power, but on elegance and fine details that open up more and more with a longer stay in the glass. Today it offers a beautifully mature expression, yet it retains enough energy for further development.
Serve at 16–18°C. We recommend decanting approximately 60 minutes before serving. It goes well with beef, lamb, game and dishes with truffles or mushrooms.

Château Margaux
Château Margaux is located in the commune of the same name in the Haut-Médoc region and is one of the most famous wine estates in Bordeaux. Along with Lafite, Latour, and Haut-Brion, it is one of the four estates awarded the Premier Cru (1st Growth) category during the original Bordeaux Médoc classification of 1855.
Margaux is generally considered the most elegant of the 1st Growths and is consistently among the most expensive wines in the world. The dominant blend of Cabernet Sauvignon is complemented by a small amount of Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc.
The vineyard at Château Margaux has a complex combination of soils unique to this area. They consist of chalky clay beneath a top layer of coarse and fine gravel, which is very well-suited for Cabernet Sauvignon.
