Product detailed description
A premium gift for those who truly want to get to know Bordeaux.
Grand Tour de Bordeaux is a journey across both the left and right banks. Three of the wines come from Margaux, Haut-Médoc and Médoc, and three from Lalande de Pomerol, Montagne-Saint-Émilion and Canon-Fronsac. Among them are a wine from a renowned 1855-classified château, a refined Cru Bourgeois and a biodynamic estate. The recipient can compare the elegance of the left bank with the depth of the right and discover which style suits them best.
The set includes the Vinodi tasting card, which features a map of the journey, a recommended order from the lightest wine to the fullest, a short description of each wine and winery, pairing tips and space for personal notes and ratings. This gives the gift a personal, refined framework, and the evening with the wines turns into a small tasting.
Who the gift is ideal for

Six wineries, six stories
Each of the wines comes from a different winery with its own character. That is what makes this set more than just six bottles.
1. Château Beauséjour 2013 – Montagne-Saint-Émilion
Winery: Montagne is a "satellite" of the famous Saint-Émilion, sharing its Merlot-based style but with a more favourable value for money.
Wine: An elegant, softer wine that faithfully reflects the character of a more challenging vintage.
Why it's in the set: It is the lightest wine of the journey and a perfect start. It shows that even a more modest vintage can be refined. Pair with veal, poultry or light cheeses.
2. Château Cantemerle 2006 – Haut-Médoc, 5e Grand Cru Classé 1855
Winery: Cantemerle belongs to the famous 1855 classification, the most prestigious ranking of wines in the history of Bordeaux. The estate is known for the extensive park and forest surrounding the château.
Wine: A refined aroma of ripe cherries and blackberries, a delicate palate and soft tannins. The 2006 vintage is now in its mature phase.
Why it's in the set: It is a classified wine that can be enjoyed today, and a showcase of how beautifully the Médoc can age. Pair with roast lamb or aged cheeses.
3. Blason d'Issan 2011 – Margaux
Winery: Château d'Issan is a 3e Grand Cru Classé 1855 and one of the oldest estates in the Médoc. Its water-surrounded Renaissance building is also famous, associated with the legend of Eleanor of Aquitaine. Blason d'Issan is its second wine.
Wine: A dark garnet colour and aromas of smoke, truffles and black cherries.
Why it's in the set: The only wine from Margaux, an appellation renowned for elegance and finesse. It is a chance to taste the style of a famous château in a more affordable form. Pair with duck breast or mushroom sauces.
4. Château La Tour de By 2018 – Médoc, Cru Bourgeois
Winery: Cru Bourgeois is a quality designation for outstanding wineries outside the 1855 classification. La Tour de By is a traditional château from the northern part of the Médoc.
Wine: A structured Cabernet Sauvignon with a taste of blackcurrant, fresh yet full.
Why it's in the set: It is the youngest wine of the journey and a representative of the classic Cabernet-led style of the left bank. Pair with beef flank steak or grilled meat.
5. Château Siaurac 2012 – Lalande de Pomerol
Winery: Siaurac is a biodynamic estate. Lalande de Pomerol lies right next to the border of the legendary Pomerol, which is why it is a popular choice among collectors.
Wine: An intense dark purple colour and a layered, complex aroma. Still youthful, with potential for further development.
Why it's in the set: It adds a biodynamic dimension and a significant contrast to the left bank. Pair with beef cheeks or dark sauces.
6. Château Vrai Canon Bouché 2010 – Canon-Fronsac
Winery: Canon-Fronsac is among the most respected terroirs of the right bank, with clay-limestone slopes that give the wines depth and structure.
Wine: A cuvée of 95% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec, velvety and deep.
Why it's in the set: A full final chord. You taste it after the lighter Beauséjour and see how wide the range of the right bank is. Pair with svíčková (Czech beef sirloin in cream sauce), game or aged cheeses.
Ageing potential
The older vintages (2006, 2010, 2011) are in their mature phase and are suited to an immediate celebratory tasting. The younger bottles can be left to age further.
