Jean-Luc Thunevin, the renowned “garagiste” winemaker of Bordeaux and founder of the iconic Château Valandraud, is also behind the Thunevin Bordeaux Supérieur label. His name is closely linked with a modern, innovative approach to winemaking, producing wines that combine expressive character with elegance and authenticity.

The estate sources grapes from vineyards on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc as the dominant varieties. The resulting wines show generous fruit, refined tannins, and a fresh structure that reflects the local terroir while carrying Thunevin’s unmistakable signature.

Alongside the classic Bordeaux Supérieur wines, the portfolio also includes more creative projects – most famously the Bad Boy cuvée, a symbol of Thunevin’s unconventional spirit.
