Chateau Réaut 2017 is a wine that, despite the challenging climatic conditions of the 2017 vintage, marked by April frosts, demonstrates the mastery of the winemakers. The result is an elegant wine with a clear and pure character. Thanks to the careful selection of grapes, it was possible to create a wine that is a vivid expression of its terroir with clay-limestone soils and gravel.
This wine has a rich, healthy color with ruby reflections. The aroma is full of fruity tones with a dominance of cherries and cassis, complemented by earthiness and a subtle hint of menthol. On the palate, the wine is lively and elegant, with juicy tannins and pleasant acidity that give it structure and tension. The finish is balanced, with good length. The wine is excellent to drink now, but has the potential for further archiving.

Château Reaut
In 2012, under the leadership of Yannick Evenou, the winery was purchased from the famous Champagne house Roederer by a group of friends and wine enthusiasts.
True to their values and with a strong desire to share their adventure, the owners of Château Réaut decided to offer 400 individuals the opportunity to become co-owners. To date, there are over 550 co-owners worldwide, with the aim of gaining another hundred each year.
Thanks to this unique concept of shared ownership, as well as some revolutionary infrastructural solutions, Château Réaut is now a pioneer in the world of winemaking.
Situated on 26 hectares on a slope overlooking the Garonne River, Château Réaut is located near the town of Rions, just 4 km from Cadillac. Thanks to its particularly favorable exposure and precise viticulture, Château Réaut offers structured, powerful, yet velvety wines.
Located on a slope at an altitude of 20 to 100 meters, facing southwest, the estate benefits from an ideal terroir for producing perfectly healthy and ripe grapes.
