These wines are in a 6 L bottle, called an Imperial. It is equivalent to 8 standard bottles. The Imperial size is ideal for medium or larger celebrations.
This is a prestigious type of bottle designed for wines with a longer aging potential. The glass of the bottle is thicker. A longer cork is also used, which is intended for wines for longer storage. In some cases, the closures are also sealed with wax.
